PhD in “History of Modern and Contemporary Europe” and “Cultore di materia” in Contemporary History at the “L’Orientale”, University of Naples.  Acanfora published on Italian and International historical reviews and collaborates to “Luigi Sturzo Institute”. At the moment Acanfora takes part in a research group focused on the  “Aldo Moro in the Italian history of Twentieth century” promoted by the “Aldo Moro Historical Studies Academy”
